We’re Dorian + DJ Adams-Walker, the founders of Black Heart Homes (BHH)—a mission-driven property management company dedicated to revitalizing Baltimore by fighting blight, protecting investments, and ensuring tenants have access to reliable, appropriately priced housing.
BHH was founded in January 2021, born from our shared passion for real estate, travel, and luxury. Initially focused on curating high-end short-term stays, we built a strong foundation through the pandemic. Since then, we've expanded to long-term rental management across Baltimore and the DMV, providing expert care for owners and stable, high-quality housing for tenants.

DJ - (she/they) is a licensed REALTOR®, specializing in investment properties and tenant placement. Their expertise ensures that owners maximize returns while tenants find homes that fit their needs.
Dorian - (she/her) is an experienced mortgage loan officer with Motto Mortgage, specializing in process management for investors. Her financial insight helps clients streamline their investment strategies and safeguard their assets.
